Anyone tried Lycoris Desktop/LX (former Redmond Linux)? Worth installing it?

It is supposed to be a trimmed-down version of Linux primarily for desktop use, and with a bullet-proof install program (or so I was told). I have the disc but I couldn't find any info online, and I don't want to fire it up and mess up my home computer in case something goes wrong. Anyone has tried it or at least heard about it?

If yes, does it setup a dual boot system, or I'll have to go about fixing things (grub, LILO, or what?)

Thanks,

I installed it and was impressed. very windows like.
it might not run on the very latest hardware though.

I think it does setup for dual boot if it detects another OS

try it I think you'll be impressed
