Its really really good! It dosent look crappy, it looks like somthing you may have paid for. Its played everything VLC has played except for a .bin file and it needed the AC3 thing for a .mkv of terminator 2. Although its got a built in AC3 filter it didnt seem to work for that file. It can apparently play dvds too.

If i put this on a disk and tried to sell it to my friends half of them would buy it thinking WOW this must cost lots! The menus are great too. I havent found any glaring faults with it.
 
I only got it the other day and I'm already thinking of ditching VLC for it.
Absolutely loving it.
How do they get so much into a free player? Awesome.
 
Yeah its really somthing... Im keeping VLC for any oddball files GOM cant play which i have to say are few and far between.

If only they would add that "mini player" in the taskbar that WMP 11 has i would use GOM for music as well as videos.
 
Wow. Thanks for the heads up on this program. Very impressive, and I definitely like the interface a lot better than VLC.
 
so far i like it alot....but does anyone know why my harddrive light would be flashing the entire time i'm watching a dvd movie? as in, the dvd light flashes(since it's reading teh dvd) and the hard drive light is flashing at the same time. i dont recall this happening with vlc...but i've already uninstalled it, so it's too late for me to find out.

I like it, I watch my videos full screen so I guess the interface doesn't matter too much. But I still love the default skin, I couldn't get it to play the DVD video I made in Encore 2.0 but that's probably my own screw up 🙂

for the skin alone I like it better then MPC.
 
Have been using it since it first came out.
Well, it's a Korean program and I haven't tried the English version of it.
Do English version also have channels(TV/Movie/Game league) as well?
 
Are you talking about the menu which appears on screen when you put a DVD in and play it?
If that is what you're talking about, then my mouse works perfectly on those menu items, as do the keyboard dirctional buttions (arrows).
