Anyone tried comparing 8600GT OCing on both a PCI-E 1.1 x16 and PCI-E x16 2.0 board?

If i'm not mistaken,PCI-E x16 2.0 delievers double the power through the PCI-E x16 slot,if so,then a 8600GT,which has decent OCability but is limited by the lack of external power,and the 8600GT alone consumes 43 watts right? And the PCI-E x16 1.1 Slot delievers 75 watts on its own,so did anyone tried OCing any 8600GT's on both a PCI-E 1.1 x16 Board and a PCI-E x16 2.0 Board.
