I've been a longtime WoW player (how long has it been since release now? Nearly 5 years? Good god...), but have become unhappy with the game as of late. Not really looking to get into a WoW-bash here, but I was unhappy with the casual direction that the end-game raiding was taking.
Anyways, I am considering pre-ordering Aion: Tower of Eternity...it looks pretty darn good. It's from the creators of Lineage and has been going strong in Asia for almost a year now. I know they've been doing American beta testing the last few months - has anybody been in on it and have an opinion to share? There have been a lot of disappointing MMOs lately, and I hope this one will break the trend.
