Anyone thinking about going to BCS Fiesta Bowl in Tempe?

If OSU does indeed win out there season and go to the Fiesta Bowl, i was thinking about making the trip to tempe... right now i am broke of course, but have some student loan money coming to me soon... i would absolutely love to see this game if it does happen and could care less about spending the money to get there... I was just wondering if any ATer's were thinking about seeing the game.. or if someone could figure out the cheapest way to get from Burlington Vermont to Tempe Arizona... thanks

The cheapest way would probably be by bus, but it's also the longest. And you might be sitting next to someone whom you would not otherwise associate with ;)

i'd go to the fiesta bowl if my team was in it... need a couple of losses to make it happen... even if they don't we stand a good chance of an at-large invite to one of the bowls

didn't they used to have this promotion, $69 roundtrip anywhere in the continental USA?

yeah time really isnt that big of a deal.. i end the semester like dec 19th and its still up in the air if i plan on coming back for the spring.. i was thinking about the jet blue deal from 99 bucks from NYC to Los Vegas, but that would invovle driving to NYC and then to tempe :(

I won't be at the game (too much $$), but I'll be at the New Year's Eve Fiesta Bowl Block Party. I live in Chandler, AZ, about 10 miles from the stadium. I used to live a few blocks from it when I attended ASU. It's always a good time! :)

^bump again... i tried going onto greyhound.com to find tickets but its 200 round trip per person :(:( .. does anyone know about that 69 dollar fare?????

we are possibly going to drive out to columbus on saturday to try and go the the Michigan game, and if they are successful, i am seriously thinking about making the trip cross coutry to tempe... my cousin was able to find a rate of 289 roound trip, which isnt too bad.. plus i would have to get tickets.... come on theres gotta be at least ONE ATOTer that wants to go this THE game in college football?

probaly around 400 bucks... my cousin is seriously thinking about going, maybe my uncle will get us tickets :).. if not i can semi afford to buy them, but that will send me into serious debt :).. oh well.. its well worth it to see the greatest college football EVER!

There probably will be some package deals from Columbus,Ohio to Tempe after everything is settled, so you might look into how much it would cost you to get from Vermont to Columbus.

My roomate is going with her family.
My best friend is going with his family.

Lots of people are going. We are all season ticket holders, so we shall get tickets to the game :D

Can't wait till Jan 3rd, theres a huge difference from freezing Vermont to warm Arizona in January :) ... I looked into the packages and 1,400 bucks seems a bit too much :( ... If i can indeed get a chance to go, i will be probaly selling my gamecube/gba/and possibly my gf4 ti4600 if anyone is interested... if anyone is seriously considering going, i think we should do a pre-game OSU ATOT meet somewhere near the statium :)
