Anyone think the email checker in ICQ 2000B is screwed up?

I've been using ICQ to alert me when I get new email for years now. Well, I just upgraded to 2000B and the email checker is really messed up. When you get new email in 2000B is plays the wav file for every email you recieve plus it doesn't show you the header of the emails on one screen. You have to click next for each message.

This is really annoying, am I missing something that I turn this crap off and make it the way it used to be?

i haven't actually used the feature that you are reffering to, but im also getting sick of the way icq keeps changing. i am happy with the way the feautres work in the version im using, so i have no plans to update it. all the new options are of no use to me, so i wont clutter up my screen with extra garble 🙂

i suggest, you just go back to the previous version you were using, if you had no problems with it.
