Just let him be. He's already downscaled after claiming he was getting a diamond studded Veyron, so just let him play in the sandpit on his own. It's tiring trying to discuss anything with it.

Can you please stop crapping in my threads ESP since you go cry to the mods everytime I put you in your place!

He will NEVER buy anything. Every week he will make a thread of what he or his wife will buy. Guess what...he hasn't bought anything. Even if he were to buy something, he will never get to drive it. He post in this forum every hour of everyday. Can the mod make a sticky thread just for him so he can hang out in his own thread 24/7?

It's not really a 'timeline' esp when she is driving a perfectly good car.

If I pass my tests, the raise generated from that will be more than both our car payments.

You do realize I make a buttload of money a year right? My time is fucked lately though.

So this is how Anandtech Forum looks like? No wonder you spent 10 years and 54,000+ posts here. Please go outside once in a while so you can actually BUY your car instead of talking about buying. You are just as much a joke as the GTR guy now. Please go away, nobody will miss you here in the Garage forum. Anyone agree with me?

What does me just turning 40 have to do with anything. I haven't seen hardly anywhere or heard in person anything equal year VW > Audi

Don't get what you think is even better since you qualified nothing

I have. It is fairly common knowledge that the Mk6 Golf/GTI is in many respects an equal or better car than the aging A3, for less money.

And it doesn't make sense for someone to be just a VW fanboy. Thats like someone being a Honda fanboy but hating Acuras.

Anyone know if there is something like a katzkin set of upholstery in interlagos for the Mazda 3?

You guys narrow down selection yet? Is it going to be a Mazda 3?

2012 is now out...

2011 can be leased for under $200/month with tax, tag, titles only, no cap reduction. Seriously, as long as lease deals that ridiculous stay in the running in the future I just won't be buying cars again, it's certainly not the only car with excellent lease prices within the past couple of years.

+1 for mazda3, cheaper, more reliable, more space, it's your wifes car anyways, not yours :)

I am in a similar market, although i am considering the A3 Quattro Sport versus the Golf R. Have not driven either though, of course.

Bought a 2012 Mazda 3 s Grand Touring today, ships out of Alabama for hopefully delivery this week. All options except the bumper guard and aero kit. Pearl White exterior and the manual trans. Edmunds mobile app was jacked up so I ended up paying another $700 than I should have though...not going to sweat that but it sucks.
