anyone taken summer courses?

These are two pretty simple courses :

ART 1101 09 Visual Arts
THTR 1116 99 Intro Theatre

I am taking them to complete my MNTC transfer credits so I can transfer to the U in 2 more semesters, this will allow me to get my associates degree in only 2 semesters too! which is really neat if you ask me. As I hate school -_-. Plus these classes seem REALLY interested to me, oddly. I am a computer science major, but I almost want to change it to a Theater major...oy! So the class sched. is as follows :

ART 1101 09 Visual Arts T and Th 1pm-5pm
THTR 1116 99 Intro Theatre T and Th 6pm-10pm

I work, full time, but my work will allow me to leave for the class on T and thursday, considering it is only on T and Th and from 7-03-2007 TO 8-02-2007.

ONE MONTH! That seems smart to me, and I can take my tougher courses during a full semester. Any thoughts on this--from people who have taken courses at night/summer ?

I took a mixture of night classes and morning classes during my last two years of college. Night classes were a little rough because they're usually long. Mine were about 3.5 hours each and we would meet once a week. I would be extremely tired because I had just gotten off of work. It's tough and you might feel burnt out, but it will pay off. I've also taken a class during summer break and during winter break. I was also working full time during the summer and during the winter, but I needed to get the credits if I wanted to graduate when I planned on graduating.

I hated taking summer courses. I ended up having to take them pretty much every year when I was in college though. It's not so bad when the school is close but one summer I had M-TH 5:45-9:00 with an hour commute each way. Add the homework in and accelerated coursework, and it gets to be a real pain.

thats what I am hoping for, it will allow me to transfer over the summer AND I will get my cute 2 year AA degree.

yeah, I was going to take a course like that, but passed...these two seem perfect, I think.

as long as those classes count for something towards your degree, might as well.
