Anyone take Pepcid AC? Does it work?

If you have frequent heartburn, I suggest taking Prilosec once a day. Rather than reacting to heartburn, it's much nicer to just head it off at the pass.

BTW, Within a week of quitting smoking, I no longer got heartburn... at all... except on some extremely rare occasions.

It works really well, but takes a bit to start in. Sort of the opposite of calcium carbonate (tums, etc.) which dampen the fire but don't prevent it from starting back up a half hour later. If it's bad enough, use both.

Lay off booze, spices and grease.

You'd have to kill me first. 😉

May as well be asking him to lay off women. 😛
