Just looking around, maybe around $75 to $100 dollars a year for something simple at this point until I'm able to learn more about it and make something more extensive, because I will be developing the site myself.

If you are just looking to start out and learn, and the traffic won't be too extensive, try http://www.e-rice.net... they get some lower costs by stripping out some of available features... but you can get a enough for a truly small site for $5/year (you do get what you pay for, though.)
Their services are NOT designed for large traffic sites, so depening on what you plan to do with it, it might not be right for you.

And talk to Rossman. His forum is gottadeal.com

Thanks for the tip.

One more question. My business is separated in two sections although they are somewhat related. The first website I plan to have hosted will be the more simple one. I won't need shopping carts nor will I need online money collection, and stuff like that. The second website I wan't shopping carts and all that good stuff. My question is when i'm ready to have the second site hosted, what is the typical way to do it. Would it be able to run on the existing server. Do I have to buy a separate plan. I want a diffent domain. Just not sure. I might browse in some of the forums too. I have a lot to learn.

The easiest method is to get a RESELLERS ACCOUNT which allows you to host multiple domains.

If this is for eCommerce, I would go with a REPUTABLE web host which starts around $35/mo.

SEARCH WHT for HTTPme.COM and clook.net
