Anyone successfully cloned and resored a Window XP o/s partition?

I have not tried it, but wondering if I can clone my Windows XP o/s partiton (ntfs) using Drive Image 5, and restore it?

I have cloned it but am wondering if it will restore when I need it to. That is one of those things you don't want to try out to see if it will work at the time you created it, but wished you did later.

Several times using drive image 2002 - but I am concerned about this next time as I am going to change a video card and chang out one of my three hard drives - will be intersting to see how the "fresh" drive image copy of XP will react to the changes

I've restored various XP installs 50-100 times at least. Sometimes when I'm trying something hard-core I'll reimage 5-10 times in a morning. Never had a glitch yet.(knock wood)

I image my NTFS partition to another NTFS partition using Drive Image 5.01. Takes about 1.5 minutes to image a 2.5GB partition, and about 2 minutes to restore it again. My Win2000 box won't even boot up that fast!
