Around 2005 to 2011 sliders were like the coolest things. The most recognisable ones are the Nokia n95 and others. The phones were really good but the problem is that nowadays most companies either make flip phones or candy bars without the features and companies could really make a flagship sliders that ran Kai os but nowadays no one really realises that something existed like that (aka children nowadays who only seen a huge tablet) and even if there is one left (the g5 I saw which was from Pakistan) it doesn’t have the specs as everything is just touchscreen maybe companies like Samsung can save the thing but everyone will reconsider
And that’s it IMG_2556.jpeg

Nokia N95 days were iconic. A modern slider would definitely stand out today, sliders had their own charm, but companies focus only on what sells.

Not sure what a N95 was, but my first real phone that wasn't regionally locked through roaming, was a nokia, lasted about 10 minutes in washing machine before i found it pulled battery and let dry for a week, still worked afterwards. Had a small screen and keypad on front. No color LCD.

The first and last Nokia I had (Can't remember model) I hated so much, I stopped my car, and threw across a open field.. That was back in the day, when you can go and buy a phone that did not break the bank.. I also had the Samsung Moment, got that from my oldest daughter. That was a decent phone and really liked it.

I had a small LG phone with the slider back about 2010/2013. The keyboard was so small, I had to use a pen to push the buttons. (fckn big fingers) It was on the Metro PCS network, which worked fine when we were in Modesto, but once we moved back to WA, service was pretty spotty at best. I think I still have that phone in a box in the garage...somewhere.

Kind of like this: (ebay pic, not mine)
