Anyone still playing Madden 25?

Yep. Just finished my latest season up last night. Sad I can get 4000 rushing yards in a season on All-Madden.

I am... I haven't played as much as I would like, life is busy. But I have the next five days off work, most of which will be spent on projects around the house, but I will most certainly find time for plenty of Madden and NHL. :)

I considered getting it, but didn't. I still harbor disdain for EA over the Online Pass thing, but maybe I'll get the next one.

I take it you aren't a Sony gamer then, since all their exclusives now have online passes.

I haven't touched this game since GTA came out, but I am down to playing on the weekends so I would rather spend my time in GTA than Madden. Maybe once my classes are done in a couple months I will play it again.

I've play it every chance I get. I think rushing is easier than passing. It's much easier to throw the ball with zone coverage....even with 1 on 1 coverage. My last version was 2011 and I definitely threw down the field for more 40 yard receptions than in 25.

Have been playing GTA V so don't have time anymore. I do however use the Sunday Ticket part of it regularly.

I think I'll actually pick up NCAA Football 14 instead, since it will be the last college football game for a long awhile. :(

Hah! Agreed. College football is even worse if you don't know the players or rosters. I went to a D2 school. NCAA had my school's team on the PS2 version years ago, but since dropped the D2 teams....I cared more about stadium art and nostalgia than anything else.

NFL is much more exciting.

Thank god for that. College football is terrible. I'd rather watch Arena football.

Great job sounding like a retarded troll.

If you went to a D2 school, I don't know what to tell you. Nobody cares about D2 football anyway.
However, for the D1 schools, there are literally dozens of rosters sets you can download for the game within the first 5 seconds of owning the game that correctly name all the players and more accurately tweak their attributes.

If anyone is playing this on ps3 send me a friend request. If your playing it on 360 and you think your good at it message me on here and I'll give you my buddies gamertag. He plays probably 500 or more online games a year and he's a beast at madden on xbox

I play it on Xbox, but I am not interested in playing your friend. I have better things to do than get beat at Madden by 98 points. :p

Been playing this for about a week on the Xbox One. Man, is the new engine better (and harder). Super DBs are back though. =(

On Xbox 360, I was able to hit 4,000+ rushing yards in my second season as an undrafted power back. I don't think I'll be doing that in this version. The running is more fluid, but a lot harder. I was averaging like 9.5 yards per carry on Xbox (my first season was bringing me down!), and I won't be hitting that here.

If anyone is still playing, and wants to do a league, let me know.

A friend of mine is trying to get me to buy it so we can play online. He loves football but sucks at video games. If the price comes down after Christmas, I may get it. I tried a Madden demo once, not sure if I was controlling the players or just pushing buttons while the game played itself.

Still playing it on PS3. Didn't upgrade to PS4 as my offline careers wouldn't transfer over.

How is it for the Xbox One? I remember when the 360 came out Madden 06 sucked something awful.

It is pretty good, IMO. It is a bit harder as well. Both running and super DBs.

That's good. Because up to this point the past few years the defense has sucked ass. Madden 05 was where it peaked IMO both single player, franchise, and online. They really damaged the online play for me when they got rid of the Fair Play rules. But I enjoy it more as a football game than a video game I guess.

I don't even play online. The Ultimate team interested me until I found out everyone would get Reggie Bush and just run the option with him as QB every down. They'd also put him as safety and nobody could burn him. That was a few Madden's ago and I haven't gone back since.

The running game is much improved (or, cheap). It is like the defense automatically knows it is a run play. On the 360, on All Madden difficulty, I was able to break 4k rushing yards in my second season after getting like 3300 the first. I barely broke the rushing record this time around. The DBs (and especially LBs) are great pass defenders, as in Maddens past. They also immediately break off coverage once the ball is handed off. Defensive linemen are also great at getting off blocks.

That's good. Maybe I'll give it a try. I found the previous maddens to be infuriating with such ineptitude on defense.

A lot of it is also due to the new engine (and the 360 version engine as well). With you no longer clipping players until you get around, you now stumble and trip and such.

My only complaint is that if I am mid jump, you shouldn't be able to interrupt it with some of the silly tackle animations that interrupt it. My forward momentum should not be instantly stopped, place me back on my feet, and push me out of bounds before the goal line.

Something I really like is the new dive into the endzone celebrations. If you are wide open and dive over the pile, rather than that you get a silly jump, such as a barrel roll or a pose in the air. In a snow game, my guy actually jumped and slid on his back through the endzone. I do wish there was an option to turn off end zone dances though. I'd prefer to have a player with a little more class.

I think the fancy dives were in the last Madden as well?
