Anyone still play Warcraft2? ,need help...........

Here's a brief run down of a few problems I have

On my Athlon XP the mouse just moves too fast ,I briefly tried a program called moslo to try to slow it down but I couldn't get it to work (will try again @ some point) but is there any other way around it?

Re sound for WC2 ,I have the DOS emulators/drivers installed for my onboard cmedia sound ,the music works OK but the sound effects get stuck in a loop ,any ideas?

Tried running WC2 with a V3 3000 & it just kicks me back to the desktop ,any ideas.(uvconfig doesn't seem to help)
My son would really appriecate fixing the last problem! (he's just discovered WC2)

And yeah I know its an old game but its still good

Pick up the B.net edition, it works very good in Win2K/XP, and also has a bunch of enhancements, aside from the obvious B.Net support.

Yeah Battlenet Edition is a native Win32 app and will fix all of the problems you're having. You can probably pick it up from the bargain bins nowadays.

WC2 bnet edition is actually a "jewel case" title you can find at stores for between $7-$10

Thats a known problem that was fixed in the bnet idetion because it's a flaw in the way the game was programmed and cant be fixed on the original.
