No more MTG here, I won too easily back in the day when they seperated Type I and Type II. Most of my decks revolved around The Vice, direct damage, land destruction or balance. Heck, the decks I won numerous tournaments with, most of the cards were restricted then and banned now -- total BS.
At any rate, my best MTG moment is when we were playing 2v2. My buddy and I were 4 colors (no white) and basically were direct damage and The Vice kills. The two guys we were up against were Eureka decks. They cast Eureka and throw down some massive creatures and just stomp my friend out. Now its me, against two Eureka decks and they have like 4 8/8 creatures out and are willing to take damage on upkeep.
I look at my hand and cast Underworld dreams and Time Twiser (they had Mana Flare out, so that helped a lot). Each of the guys take 7 damage. Get my hand and I have lots of goodies, my Black Lotus is back, another Mox, land, Time Walk, Regrowth, and Wheel of Fortune. I basically take two more turns, inflicting damage to both guys and finally Wheel of Fortune again. As the next guy takes his turn, I Ancestral Recall him and he dies (he had three life after paying his upkeep, then the Ancestral killed him) and now its his buddy's turn. After he takes damage from The Vice, I double bolt him gone.
Didn't think I could pull it out, but it worked.
