Anyone still play Diablo II ?

No matter what new console I get or new video card to play the latest games, I can't seem to put DII and LOD down !

I like the older Fallout and all, but it just don't have the hack & slash action that DII has for me

I think this weekend I'm gonna have a little gaming session with Diablo 1 on the PS1, lol


Any other topics out there that similar to Diablo game play style ? Fallout Brotherhood of Steel was good for the PS2, same kinda action going on...

i was working on nightmare with my lvl 44 barb up until about 5 months ago.
the ole lady and i have been playing thru norrath on the ps2, we beat the 1st and now onto the sequel.
baldurs I and II are also awesome for the console, co-op or solo...must plays imo.if you love diablo type games.

I lost my cd key, though I at least played through it once. The cut scene vids in that game were the best ever.

I hadn't played in a few months, had a friend keeping my accounts active. For some reason, none of my cd keys or accounts got banned a few months back when all those mass bannings took place, so I'm still very D2 "wealthy" I suppose.

Played for the first time again last night. Was a blast.

Do they still do the thing where if you dont play on your characters, they will be deleted? IF so, thats dumb IMO.

I moved to The Elder Scrolls series, mostly Oblivion (but I still play Morrowind every now and then).

I still play Diablo 2, and I will play it until Blizzard turn the switch Off for it, which might happen in a few years. I certainly don't play it as much as I did when I first started. I used to play a minimum of 5 or 6 hours per day, for a whole week (when I was still in high school), and when I had nothing to do during week-ends (which rarely happened) then I'd simply waste the whole week-end with D2 (which means literally 20 hours or so of play within 48 hours to spare). And that social mess it caused to me lasted a few months, until I saw that my future at school was at risk, and I took my responsibilities (I'm kinda proud of that up to this day still).

Now, I play D2 like ... maybe 2 or 3 hours per week instead, sometimes skipping one or two weeks without playing a single minute or even thinking about it. I'm just stuck with TES IV: Oblivion, Natural-Selection, Medieval II and Dark Crusade at the moment.
