What on Earth happened?
Was there ever a more tallented artist who rose higher, and never returned?
Are folks STILL sick of his music because it was way over played - I figure folks got over that by the mid 90's. I took me 20 years, but heck, he was fvckin awsome, and I miss that smooth sound.

Anyone who does not know him, go "aquire:

"Do You Feel Like We Do",
"Baby, I Love Your Way",
"Show Me the Way",
"Lines on My Face",

70s actually had some real talented singer songwriters, 80s had some good music too, but after about the early mid 90s music took a nosedive.

I've been listening to the Doobie Brothers - What A Fool Believes lately and I usually don't listen to 70s stuff but I'll be damned if some of it wasn't just pure genius, including some of Frampton's work.

I hear Do You Feel... every other day on the classic rock station here, and always enjoy it. I saw him open for Journey about 2 years ago and we thought he sounded good. He lives (unless he's moved) here in Nashville, and though I've yet to see him out, a friend has. :)
I've got the Frampton Comes Alive record album someone gave me a long time ago. Been meaning to buy his greatest hits CD.
