Anyone still into tiny R/C helicopters?

Blade CX2

Got some stick time at my uncle's place last week. Once you past ground effect, it handles way, way better than any of the other micro-choppers I've used. The last "big" little chopper I had was a Blade CP and I couldn't even get that off the ground. Battery lasts a good 20 minutes, surprisingly long! I highly recommend using the trainer kit (has orange balls on extensions for stability). It also has the new spread-spectrum remote system, no crystals required.

Some tips, read the battery instructions carefully; my uncle said he has to time the charge. Also, the velcro for the battery didn't work in his, so he stuff some thick foam around it to hold it in place and cut a hole for the battery connector to pop through so that he didn't have to take it out. It's tricky to fly like any helicopter, but again, once you get out of ground effect it's handles surprisingly well. Just thought I'd throw this out to those of you who want to graduate from the Dragonfly :)
