Anyone still cares about Barry Bonds' HR record chase?

I see him in sports news sometimes, saying he hit another home-run, and how far away he's from the record...

I find myself don't care 1 bit, even though I am a pretty big baseball fan...

Anyone else feels the same?

I don't care.

I believe he juiced. Just simply too many connections and physical changes. If he had done what Giambi did then he might recover some dignity. Instead he played stupid.

The chances of him being convicted are close to nil. the trainer won't talk and the best the government will get him on is tax evasion.

Espn probably won't cover it until next season. he needs 26 more homers to beat the record but only has 24 games left to play. You'll hear more when he's 5-10 away with plenty of time to do it. it'll be just like when he was close to passing ruth.

I personally do no understand why he did it. He was getting paid already. He already had hall of fame numbers. Could he really be that desperate to get media attention that he risked throwing it all away. Sure baseball didn't have the greatest drug tests but if the stuff balco labs gave him wasn't any good, he'll be screwed.

According to the guys from the Chronicle who covered the BALCO story and wrote the book, it was jealousy over how much attention McGwire was getting in '98 and '99.

I'm also glad to see the dopes in Congress finally making some noise about slapping the NFL around a little bit. This has been the exclusive mess of MLB for too long.

What do you mean "still cares"? It would mean that I cared before which I did not and still don't.
