Most hotel rooms don't have freezers, unless you're going to specific campgrounds with lodges meant for fishing trips etc. You also run in the risk of freezer burn and making fish taste like crap.
Homestead is niice. They're meant for long-term rentals, but a company I interviewed with put me up in one for a couple nights. Full-sized kitchen, in-room internet connection, and cable tv. Pretty nice and friendly customer service.
I wouldn't trust the minifridges at these hotels to do more than keep your fish cold. You're probably better off saving some money and staying at like a microtel and spending a couple of bucks on ice.
