Anyone starts their own corporation/company?

I'm just wondering anyone created their own corporation or company. And what is required? Did you hire an attorney/lawyer to do paperwork?

We got a lawyer to register the company. We got an accountant to .... wel, he doesnt do much, but it is good to have him around.

I hired a lawyer to do my LLC. sure i could have done it myself cheaper but with school and work and family life i did not have the time. all i had to do was pay my lawyer 400 bucks and he took care of it and i know its done right.

We have two Washington LLC's, we had an attorney in that state handle all of the setup and articles of incorporation.

Can you expand on what you want to accomplish/do/protect/etc, might be easier to provide some more usefull advice...

My dad owns an LLC; he hired a lawyer to form it.

I formed an LLC with a DBA. Did it all myself through the state (Texas) online site. Didn't need a lawyer, didn't need one of those online corporation setup companies. Cost about $200 total. DA was going to do it for me, but once I found out how easy it was I did it myself.
