Anyone shop at Aldi?

I have always been afraid to go to Aldi, cause the one time I went it was totally ghetto and smelled like pee. We have since moved, and since my wife isn't working anymore, our budget is a little tighter. So, my wife decided to try getting groceries from Aldi.

Man are they inexpensive!! I'm actually impressed with the food too. So far, I've tried bagels, mac n cheese, frozen pizza, and more and it's all been superior quality to what the other store brands and name brands we've been buying all along.

I have no idea why I felt the need to say all of this 😕

yep, aldi's is a good deal. i've shopped there before but i dont go there due to fear of being shot.

no seriously though, it's not too close to my house, thats why i dont go. although it is on the way to/from work.. hmm maybe i should start shopping there....

Aldi is cool. Sometime in early Fall look for Speculas (sp?) cookies. They are spiced ginger cookies and are AWESOME (and cheap!)

Ahaahahahaha! Up here in bucolic Bucks County. Pa., amongst the cows and Republicans, desperate men just beat their wives in godforsaken trailer parks, they don't jack stand up citiziens in store parking lots -- way too many of the locals are armed for that to be a paying proposition!

The guy who lived above me in my former domicile in the fated and legendary trans-county burg of Line Lexington once mentioned Aldi's and I eagerly allowed as how I, a meticulously careful shoper, traded there. However, he meant the local rehab emporioum, also named Aldi's.

The damndest thang about it all is that I remember scarfing up quark (some bastard German cross between creme cheese and yogurt in the "grosser dorf" (sic) of Munchen, Deutscland back in the day. 🙂

Aldi's can be good but if your in a not so great neighborhood It is definately worth the effort to go to the nicer side of town (if possible) to shop one.
