Anyone seen Waking Life?

I've seen the first half of it... I heard it was pretty good, but from what I saw, it just discusses basic philosophical questions... the same ones covered in an intro to philosophy college course

haven't gotten around to seeing the rest of it though

I really liked it. I thought there were some parts that were a waste of time but some of the conversations in my opinion made sense.

good god, if it weren't for the trippy animation style it would just be pretentious people spouting bullsh*t. oh...they are so deeeeep!! NOT! and the animation stuff gets tiring after 5 minutes. critics just had a little too much fun writing about its new "style". so basically its 2 hours of listening to people talking just to talk.

It's interesting for a while, it's a nice concept. But after about 20 minutes you're going to be checking your watch thinking the movie should be over now. Unless you really love to hear people come up with random theories about life, it wears out its welcome. especially because the storyline is virtually non-existent, it just seems to jump from one conversation to another.
