What the hell did they do to Lian Li!? That's a disgrace to Lian Li cases everywhere, even if I don't own one. Riced out PC-7B with a window and a 250mm fan. WTFH.

I know cases are subjective...but it's not that bad. To call it "riced out" is a bit of an overstatement when considering other cases out there, both by Lian Li and other brands.

The 7B series is good platform. IMHO that sidefan will hinder performance more than help it with a tower style heatsink and proper fan layout. Get one of the cheaper 7B's there should be $75-80 one with a better hard drive cage, unless they discontinued it.

Looks adequate. That is one heck of a big fan. I am not a big fan of the blue LED on front. Lian-Li tends to use astoundingly bright LEDs so be prepared to have your room lit up.

I personally would opt for the PC-A05B instead. The back to front airflow concept is neat. No crazy LEDs, more than adequate cooling, unless you have two big hot vidcards next to each other, but even in that case the PC-A05B should be OK. The main thing is price -- the PC-A05B is about $85 shipped from newegg.

May as well pull the rear fan and grill out on arrival as no other fan needed except for the front on low to assure a small flow across the HDDs. Doesn't look like the HDDs are isolated with grommets, but probably would be too hard to isolate the whole HDD cage from the chassis if you're handy. The LED leads can probably be clipped if they bother you... I don't like the fact that they take up interior space with the big fan - see how XClio moves the fan to the outside of the side panel plane in some of their cases. I suppose the fan could be moved to the other side of the side panel, but that won't look too good - at least you get your space back inside the case. Using a tower style CPU HSF is stupid on a large side fan case - you use a HSF that works with the fan - top down air flow like the old Thermalrights...
