Anyone seen these Blind kids playing Video Games

I saw some of Attack of the Show last night on G4 TV, they had these two kids both blind on there playing each other in Mortal Kombat (I think deadly Alliance but I am not sure). Wow, you should have seen these two kids they were amazing, they were blocking just at the right moments and doing breakers, which is incredible to know when to pull that off.....CRAZY

That's a great question, my guess is that they go by the sounds within the game itself. On the TV they did have the volume up on the game so I would think any other sounds would be drowned out anyway.

There was a story about this on MSNBC about 2 weeks ago. The kid would ask his parent or someone what each move in the Soul Calibur 2 game was when he hit the button and he would listen to what each character's move sounded like. After only a couple of times he could pull off combos and counters because of the sound the character made.

They may be able to kick my ass in Soul Calibur, but I take comfort in knowing that had they been born as any other species in the wild, they would probably have been eaten by now.
