Anyone seen "The Producers" ?

Just got a couple tickets for next friday's matinee at the Pantages to see it with my g/f..

Anyone seen it yet? Is it any good?

I had great cheap tickets and was all ready to go..

Then the actors went on strike on Broadway the day of the show.

Yep, it is a good show. We saw in in NY exactly a year ago (wishing I was doing something cool this Thanksgiving 🙁).

I know the movie was good, I'm seeing it on Broadway Jan 31. I've heard it's supposed to be awesome.

 

I've heard many good things about it, the movie with Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel is one of my all time favorites 🙂

Yeah they are for a couple of months. The line to get tickets was very long

I saw it in NYC in June. It was very good. I sat front row center mess with my GF. Tickets were $99/each.

thers a dvd called "recording the producers : a musical romp with mel brooks" 🙂 its a documentary film on the making sorta heh its got them recording all the songs too. netflix has it

Well, I saw the 2nd to the last showing of The Producers in Hollywood at the Pantages Theater on Saturday. I've gotta say that it was all I was hoping for. It was downright hilarious. Martin Short and Jason Alexander make a very good pair on the stage. There were a couple of scenes where Martin Short did some adlibbing and cracked Jason Alexander up, and that just added to the comedy of the show.
