Anyone seen "The Producers" ?

Just got a couple tickets for next friday's matinee at the Pantages to see it with my g/f..

Anyone seen it yet? Is it any good?

I had great cheap tickets and was all ready to go..

Then the actors went on strike on Broadway the day of the show.

🙁

Yep, it is a good show. We saw in in NY exactly a year ago (wishing I was doing something cool this Thanksgiving 🙁).

I've heard many good things about it, the movie with Gene Wilder and Zero Mostel is one of my all time favorites 🙂

Well, I saw the 2nd to the last showing of The Producers in Hollywood at the Pantages Theater on Saturday. I've gotta say that it was all I was hoping for. It was downright hilarious. Martin Short and Jason Alexander make a very good pair on the stage. There were a couple of scenes where Martin Short did some adlibbing and cracked Jason Alexander up, and that just added to the comedy of the show.

WARNING SPOILERS(probably doesn't matter since the show wrapped up in Hollywood on Saturday.)

Just a small little snippet from the show

<Little Old Lady>: Let's play a dirty little game.
<Max(Played By Alexander>: Sure my dear, anything you want.
<Little Old Lady>: We'll play the little virgin milkmaid and the well hung stable boy.
<Max>: How about the basketball player and the concierge? 😀
<Audience>: ooooohhhhhhh & Laughter

I give it 2 thumbs up.
