5 red Dodge vehicles pull up to a stoplight along with what appears to be a BMW 5-series. Someone in a Dodge vehicle asks the guy in the BMW 5-series (they all look to be 20-something) if he's coming to the party. He says no, he has to work.

The cars pull away, and you see a PIZZA DELIVERY SIGN on top of the 5-series.

Later, at the party, they open the door to the pizza delivery guy who is none other than the 5-series driver. An the voiceover says something to the effect of, "Buy a Dodge, you won't need to work two jobs to afford one!"

:frown:

Why would that make you mad? Its just a commercial.

Actually I think its pretty funny, maybe the BMW guy just had to take a second job to pay for the scheduled maintenance on his Bimmer. ;)

Or to pay for the extras on his beemer like rear view mirrors, music system, aircon, power steering, spare tire, rear defroster etc. - the things that come standard on a Dodge :D

I dunno, it's just so stupid that someone his age would be paying for his 5-series through a pizza delivery job. It put the 5-series in the same class as the other vehicles. I dunno, I'm a BMW junkie, it made me mad. :p

LOL...BMW will nickel-and-dime you on options, albeit not those. The standard option list is actually pretty good, take a base 3-series and add the sport package and you're good to go. Xenons are standard now, CD player is standard now, I wonder if the folding rear seat is still an option. I know it used to be. That was the only really inane option.

I'm not a BMW junkie. It didn't make me mad, but it did seem stupid.

Like back when NES first came out and Atari was in the death throes, they cut the price on the 2600 to $49.99 and had all these commercials basically saying "Who cares if NES beats the turds out of Atari? The Atari is CHEAP!"

It DID annoy me that the commercials said that it was "UNDER 50 BUCKS!" when $49.99 is hardly under 50 bucks, especially when you have sales tax.

It does seem strange to see all those Mopars around a BMW. Does it take that many to equal one Bimmer.

Mine came with all the goodies plus a tool kit. Its the "Better" stuff that costs all the extra. Such as beefed up sound system, leather seats...etc. :D

Why would it ruin it? It's no different than stop & go city driving.

Just keep your oil changed, and you'll be fine. ;)

You rack miles up on it quickly, stop and go, makes the interior smell, ruins the paint job where the pizza hut sign is stuck.....

Are you a pizza delivery driver? I deliver for Papa Johns, and and the only true thing you said was that you rack up miles quickly. Why the fvuck woudl your interior smell? And the ruining of the paint can be avoided by placing a pillow case between magnets on the car topper (the light up sign) and your paint.
