The OP's referring to this as a "jap" film is wrong in so many ways.

Ong-Bak is a few years old now. I would compare it to mid period Jackie Chan: you don't watch it for the plot or the acting, just the amazing action... not that Jackie's newer stuff features plot or acting... well maybe New Police Story does.
