I am looking for what seems to be a hard to find part. I need to take the half pitch centonics 36 connector on the back of my printer and make it so I can connect a male centronics 36 connector(reg. size) to it. I am told such an adaptor is out there, I just haven't seen one. Please let me know if you know of such an adaptor.

Thanx

It would be extremely unusual to find other than parallel, serial or USB connectors on a printer. What make and model is it?

I think this shows a shopping comparison for this cable. You are looking for type b to type c centronics

edit>> oops, adapter ~ nevermind !

This page shows a Q32 and Q31, but it seems to me you'd need a M x F adapter, not F x F or M x M

edit>> all I can find is the Hawking CA128 which an adapter as such, but more like a small printer cable. At that price you may do well to get the whole cable with the ends you want.

www.CablesToGo.com has Centronics Female to HPM (hp male) adapter for $18. or a 6' cable for a little less.

www.computergate.com has a 6" cable (DB25M to HPM) for about $7.

www.dalco.com has cables (DB25M to HPM) from 6' to 20' for $11. to $13.50.

Lots of other places...
