Anyone seen Primer

Damn, I haven't been this clueless about a movie for a long time, anyone watch it & actually understand the timeline?

Primer

I'm going to have to watch it a couple of times...

i did. i think

**spoiler**

is that the one where they build a time machine and stay in it and such? if so, i saw it and liked it. watch the commentary. it's the director, admittedly talking about boring stuff like camera angles and stuff but tidbits are slid in here-and-there.

I loved it. Took me a while to unravel it all but after 2 extra viewings, it cleared up 🙂

I watched it this summer, thought it sucked when it was over. There was waaaay too much going on and it got way too complex to easily follow.

I really liked it but it felt like the ending was really rushed. Like they blitzed through the "explanation" so fast it was impossible to follow.

Yes. I think I'll buy it. I had suggested it to someone in another thread awhile back, and after he watched it we were discussing it. Apparently, with exception of a few scenes, the entire movie was only filmed once.

I loved the first half, but then it got really strange.... I need to watch it again.

Yea, the ending got REALLY strange.

After rewatching it, I finally got the timeline though. It all comes together at the end who was where and when, and who was the first to actually use the machine.

It mostly understood it when watching it, but only when I read some online analysis did I really get exactly what happened at what time.
