I'm about halfway through it right now...this is a longass movie. It's better than a B movie, but still has some campy parts. Overall I'd call it an A- movie.

Oh god. The dude on the snowmobile is having a conversation with himself, and the alien has a bad british accent.

Strangest movie I have ever seen in my life. All I could think was, "Dubya tee eff".

Only reason my girlfriend and I saw it is because when she was visiting out in BC she actually got to go on the set... :)

King's writing style just doesn't translate well to film. He takes a hundred pages to wrap up a climax, always going deeply into what it means to the main characters, and the film version always just has a big monster jump out and get killed. There are some great horror writers out there right now, but the horror movie genre takes a completely different kind of plotline.

It doesn't help that this is the worst King novel either. The book absolutely sucked IMO.

If you have read the book before seeing the movie...it is rated F!

One of the worst SK adaptations that I have ever seen.
