Has anyone seen any good comparative reviews of the new Asus DDR mobo - A7M266 - with good KT133a mobos? (Pricey sucker. All but one low quality vendor on pricewatch want $198 or north for it.)
I read a bunch of the older ones use the Ali DDR chipset (slower than KT7a mobos), and the AMD 760 reference board -- which came in sometimes even (or even a little back), sometimes 5% or so better. I think one reviewer found some honking differences in one game -- Mercedes Benz Truck Racing or something. 25% or something. But franking that one results seems sort of like an artifact to me.
Anyway, these were all with reference or secondary boards. I'd love to see comparative ASUS benches for example KT133A vs. their DDR.
