Anyone see this TV?

Gibson486

Lifer
Samsung PN42C550.

It's the same as the c450, but with 1080p. Samsung shows it on their TV chart product line, but they do not list it an actual product on their website or at any store.

the 3rd link when you google it is this thread, so im assuming no one knows. AVS might. Ill look at work see if it shows up on the EPP tomorrow for you but it might be a later in the year release. Sometimes they split the releases and some come out in the spring and the rest the fall

ah heck.....

my gf wanted the Panny TC-42PS2, but she does not like the whole black level thing going on....

Oh well, 720p is it. I told her 720p would be fine (it's half the price), but she insists on 1080p. Back to the drawing board.

see if you can find a panny S1, its better then the S2 IDK what panay did to the S line this year but they are worse then last years. it will have a black level rise but even then the black level will be as good as a new samsung

amazon has the 42in S1 for 700 ish

can you get me a specific link? Every thread I find just has some guy saying, "S2 is a step back from S1", but he does not give in explanation as to why....
