Anyone see the movie "Crank"?

I actually enjoyed it pretty well. You don't go into it thinking it's going to be an amazing plot-driven drama. It's a great action flick with some humor.

I enjoyed it thoroughly, and so did my five friends who saw it with me. Non-stop action, graphic violence, sexual content, and a non-Hollywood ending.

The editing is awesome, but atypical; if you enjoyed movies like Snatch and Lock Stock, you'll enjoy this.
 
It's one of those "entertainment only" movies. If you watch it for anything other than to amuse yourself for 90 minutes, you're going to be disappointed.

See, Lock Stock and two Smoking Barrels is one of my favorite movies. This cannot, and should not be compared to Crank. As for the sexual content, the movie would of been a better movie without Amy Smart in it, it was decent until she showed up, she was awful in this. who cares if she showed a boob. Her character did not fit in the movie. And there was a few other things that just didnt make since in the movie, and seemed out of place. I realize the movie is supposed to be fun, but this wasnt. It was just bad.

Exactly how I felt. The minute she showed up, I was disappointed. And the sex scene in the Asian market was somply ludicrous..

What? You guys thought that there'd be substance in a Jason Statham movie? The only thing he's good for is mindless action. 😛

"I'M HARD! YEAHHHHHHH!"

I went with a few other friends, and we were laughing hysterically through the whole damn thing. It was FUNNY and good action too.

We laughed our asses off when they started having sex on the street in China town so his heart wouldn't stop. Very well directed scene. 🙂

Violence, Sex and Gore in a City

It was awesome entertainment.

Snatch, Lock Stock?
 
I think this is the best movie of the summer. I thought the Transporter movies were mediocre. I love Snatch and Lock, Stock.

This is by no means a Transporter-esque movie. He doesn't do kung fu, and his character is by no means reserved. His character essentially goes crazy, is drug induced, and loses the little sense of caution that he had. He does it all to see his girlfriend, and kill his killer. Its a simple plot, no doubt. The movie was not only one of the coolest looking movies I've seen, but the funniest too, in an intentionally good way.

I don't think Jason Statham will ever get a more interesting action role.
 
I enjoyed it. I think it was a great idea for a story and would make a kick ass game. I was entertained and that's what it was meant to do.

Ok, my bad. I meant substance in a movie that soley stars Jason Statham as the leading actor (a la Transporter). 😉
