It's very long and drawn out. I knew the whole plot and ending within the first ten minutes.

Yes, I did. It sucked. It's got great character development, a fantastic plot twist, and Sean Penn does a fantastic job. I hate Kidman. She sucks balls. Anyway, I don't like the whole political thing it pushed. Basically "yay UN, the UN can do no wrong, the UN is always right and perfect" bullsh|t.

Twists are supposed to ambush you if done right. FAIL. Still cool, but when you anticipate it happening, it's just no good.

It was good.... but not if you've already seen Hotel Rwanda.... Hotel Rwanda was real... The Interpreter reaches for the real-life drama feel similiar to Hotel Rwanda, so if you've seen the real deal, Kidman's reaches for realistic drama just falls very very flat.
