Anyone see the documentary "Hacking Democracy" on HBO

Very scary what it showed. Someone could easily rig the elections, because the electronic voting machines are so unsecured. A simple memory card swipe means a candidate gets thousands of extra votes, while another looses thousands of extra votes. There is even evidence of election fraud when Bush won in 04, like how every county with an optical scan in New Mexico voted for Bush, even when most of them are democrats. How in Ohio blacks were turned away at ballots, and 8 hour long lines in black neighborhoods to vote. :(

Could someone move this to P&N

I did watch it.

It only further confirmed the fact that the mainscream media is hard at work and completely and totally ignores fact.

Tinfoil hat sales are surging.

HBO is an entertainment channel, why would anything they show be considered credible just because they use the label "Documentary" ?

What did they say that wasn't true?

I am not saying the 2004 elections was rigged for sure, but there are some troubling facts.

These facts are well documented, like the election machines having almost no security features, and high school student with some programming skills could hack into them with ease.

Michael Moore's documentaries are full of well documented facts too, right?

If you KNOW this is the wrong forum and posted this here by accident then why are you leaving the post unedited and continuing this conversation here.

I'm inclined to believe you did this on purpose.

Eh, I figured that it might be taken as a cheap shot if I had mentioned it :D
