And to those that missed it, some highlights from memory so I'm sure to miss some things:
-They start off with the halftime clip from the past Saturday, and get talking about the XFL
-Vince then goes on talking about how he's a fighter and will keep on doing what it takes to bring the XFL up to par
-Bob says that the XFL has taken away from the prestige not of the WWF (just because), but from the prestige of NBC. Vince goes on to ask what bad prestige, as it's all football and nothing else. Bob says something about the clip they showed earlier, to which Vince responds it was a one time thing and was a spoof, and they clearly admitted it was a desperate attempt at ratings and nothing else.
Bob goes on to ask about the pre-game shows..Vince asks "What pre-game shows, we have none". Bob then goes on to ask about the game in the first week, and Vince explains that it doesn't involve him but only NBC.
-Vince says that it's the football quality that will bring viewers, as the ratings show that the 18-34 demographics are doing well. He blames the bad ratings on the media and the announcers, and that the "WWF announcers" weren't right for the job..and that it'll take time to find "real announcers".
-They then get talking about the WWF, and the clip with him and Trish stripping is shown. My God could there have been a worse time for that to have happened? Vince says it's just a storyline blah blah and that the Vince that works with the XFL is a complete turn-around from Vince the evil character...riight.
-They talk about wrestling and its civility and violential influences, to which Vince replies there's a possibility to it. Bob asks about the "suck it" and crotch chops, to Vince evilly replies with, "Look Bob, if you went ahead and watched the show instead of showing these clips which completely smear me, which I thank you by the way, we haven't done a suck it remark in over a year, and a crotch chop in over a year and half". They go on and talk about its violence influence, to which Vince goes and says how there's no murder, guns, rape, etc., and THAT's what he thinks violence is..and the WWF is not responsible for THAT.
-Bob then asks him about the objectification of women, and that clip earlier. Vince replies that "if you watch the show and follow it...you'd see that these are strong women, and in the end they'll get there's and Vince will get HIS". And it's just like the Sopranos and Sex in the city that's shown right before Bob's show
-And finally Bob asks about Owen and the safety of the wrestlers and Vince says there's a high level of risk, and they'll never try the "Owen thing" again. He says these are some of the most athletic and entertaining guys in the world, and the risk will always be there as it is in football and what not.
