Anyone see the 1st Annual BET Awards last night? [This thread has turned into "Is BET racist?"]

I did. I thought it was rather good too, they had a good line of performing acts, including some of my favorite artists, except for Lil' Bow Wow who looked like a freakin' girl. The hosts were alright, but Chris Rock would have been better .

vs: 90% of the shows on NBC CBS ABC FOX TBS TNT USA LIFE... then there's: TNN and CMT

bigd, black people are 12% of the population... More than 12% of shows are of the so-called 'Hip Hop' genre

I don't see why Hollywood still has to support such a separation of cultures by having only all black people in certain shows.

In all honesty who gives a sh!t?!? If people of different cultures want different shows, let them have them. Just don't prevent one culture from doing it while allowing others to do so.
