I have ordered mine through pcprogress because they said the would have it this week. Now they tell me AMD has pushed them back 'till the 26th.. ARGG! Is this so? or are tehy pulling my chain? Has anyone seen the 266 FSB anywhere? Please post here if you have seen it in stock somewhere! I've been sitting on my new system's parts for 3 weeks already, i'm growing very impatient.

Hehehe. I coulda purchased one when they were in stock, but I didn't. I'm going Pentium III 1Ghz instead. Sorry mate.

Good question....I thought it was PC Progress, but I'm not 100% sure. I know Spartan Technologies has them as well, but they're on backorder, too.

Ok.. heres my next question: If i buy a 200 FSB 1.2, can i then overclock the FSB making it a 266 fsb? I'm a total newby to overclocking, but want to give it a shot anyways.. please advice! thanks!

To answer your question fully, I don't know. I don't OC, but I've read MANY articles on how to do it, etc. I believe that will indeed work, but don't quote me on that. I believe that if you just join the L1 jumpers, you should be able to play with the bus speed and tweak it to whatever it will run at. Don't quote me on that, but I'm pretty sure it will work. Anyone here OC their Thunderbird/Duron?
