Anyone see Terell Owens rip that banner down in Cleveland?

I can't believe people actually still cheer for and defend this clown. (no disrespect for the rest of the Eagles)

That was the one he threw the ball at... he ripped a different one down. I didn't think it was that big of a deal.

I saw him rip down a banner, I just thought it was the same one he threw the ball at. Obviously I'm wrong. :)

TO represents everything that's wrong with the NFL. Granted, he's an exceptional talent. But he's a "me first" guy. He's all about TO. He's a terrible example for young players coming up. If you love that attitude, well, I just don't know what to say.

The sign said "Takes one to know one" and had a pic of both a rat and T.O. I thought it was amusing, but I agree that he's a bit over the top.

Agreed, on the second one.

He lost all credibility with me when he makes the assertion that the NFL is racist.

TO is an awesome receiver and he has a bit of pride. So what? If you were a kick ass superstar receiver, which you are not, I'm sure you would be a bit prideful as well. This isn't the era of romanticising the glory days of pure and innocent football. Turn on ESPN Classic if you want that. This is the 21st century, where money and big egos rule supreme. Wake up!

I don't understand why people hold athletes to such ridiculous standards... like they are all supposed to be model citizens and never do anything controversial. These are people with attitudes, personalities, etc. I mean people get all bent out of shape because he TEARS DOWN A SIGN. Who the fsck cares??? Hell when I score a goal on Sundays in pick-up hockey I celebrate, throw it in their face a little. These guys are out there playing their asses off, and when they "celebrate too much" after making a big play or scoring a TD, they get reamed for it.

When you are as good as TO is, I would fscking hope you have a bit of a me first attitude. He is one of the 3 or 4 best WRs in the NFL, and OF COURSE he wants the ball because he MAKES PLAYS. When HE scores a TD, it helps his TEAM, and he damn well knows it. TO alone has turned the Eagles into much more than they've ever been, because now they have a legit WR.

I don't want a league full of boring, robot-players who have no personality. Give me guys like Moss, TO, Deion etc who add some flavor and excitement to the game.
