Anyone see Mythbusters yesterday? (Discovery Ch)

Man that was gross. :disgust:

They took a nice '87 Corvette and put 2 dead pigs inside and let them sit there for 2 months.:Q
The point was try figure out if the Car_stinks_so_bad_it's_impossible_to_sell_it myth was true.
Some guy from a extreme cleanup company said: 'Nothing stinks so bad we can't get the smell out'

It turned out that they more or less destroyed the car. Interior was junk, smell was not gone but they sold it gutted to a guy for $2000. Myth = busted.

I saw it, nasty.. Parts they removed were dripping!

I don't think they said the myth was busted, BUT that depending on the car it would cost more then it was worth. Now if this was a new 2003 Vette, you better bet someone would clean it up. They just said it was to much work and $$$ to get this one back to good enough condition.

But I would have bought that Vette in a heartbat. Even if all I did was turn it into a race car.


But I like the show, funny, and entertaining.

I'd maybe buy the car for the engine or something. A race car that stinks that bad would be dangerous LOL!
I like the show too.

the show isn't all that great - too much bloat, only cover one or two things in a full hour.

if it was a bit less filled with miscellaneous time wasters, I would love the show.
