I just finished watching the dvd, gotta say i'm surprised it didn't get any oscars. i know it won awards at sundance and stuff thanx to the bonus features on the dvd. anyways the story and performances were just really good. its funny, sad, and has decent rock music no its not like moulin rouge, but for most of us thats a good thing (not that i didn't like moulin rouge).



one weird thing. me and my friends noticed that we weren't creeped out by the kissing because one was a drag queen. kinda weird observation.

anyone seen this? no threads on atot i could find


anyways, the bonus features were definetly good, none of that bs making of videos where all you hear are all the actors ass kissing endlessly. It seems this idea took a long time to flesh out. it went from a club show to a broadway kind of show and then to a movie. very informative documentary

No need to be creeped out by some of those kissing scenes. The part of Yitschak (the bearded guy in the band who is in love with Hedwig) is played by a woman, Miriam Shor. Talk about your gender benders!

Soundtrack album is very good too, love the song "Tear Me Down."

yea i know.. i was convinced she was a guy(a very very weird guy) even at the end though its like wow, he makes for a pretty drag queen. oops! i found out she wasn't in the making of video hah! then again i think hilary swank looks like a guy no matter what


and yup, i have the soundtrack now too


don't divx this, the bonus features are worth it. its only 19.99 at borders/frys anyways.
