which method did you use...there seem to be a few. added a HD yet?

Hotswaping involves having the XBOX power up so it unlocks the hard drive and then switching the IDE cable on the hard drive from the XBOX to your PC. Once the harddrive is unlocked you can use xboxhdm to update the hard drive. It involves more computer knowledge than the game exploits but allows you to softmod without any games and memory cards.

good to know, i was planning on upgrading the HDD anyway and i don't want to have to go through the actionreplay/usb crap.
