In software mode? I keep on getting physical memory dumps and BSOD.

Any help?

Yea, but what is your video card? I only have a Rage Pro at work and I'm trying to run it in software mode.

Runs fine for me with NT 5.0 Service Pack 1 beta. I'm on a Viper II using S3 MeTaL.

Im running it on Win NT, Service Pack 5 at work (LAN game breaks are way too much fun, hehe). My video card is a Matrox G200 and I run in software mode. I have absolutely no problems at all except for the fact that the graphics make me wanna vomit into the disk drive. Software mode sucks ass compared to my GeForce DDR at home. Oh well, I still spank all my co-workers by a LARGE margin. hehehe Poor saps... =0P

Ran fine (surprisingly smooth actually) on a Rage Pro Turbo card in Win2000, using the software mode.

Didn't install it on my work NT 4 box though... :p

By the way, what do you mean by Rage Pro? Rage Pro or Pro Turbo could mean the old Xpert 98/99 cards (like the one I had) or it can mean their newer Rage 128 Pro cards.

Ok by rage pro, I mean ATI 3D Rage Pro AGP 2X(GT-C2U2). I'm using the latest drivers (5.2.040).

The computer is a fairly new compaq, I think a P3 500, so I would guess it is one of the newer chipsets.

I run it downstairs on 2 NT systems.
One with is a Workstation 4.0 with SP 4 on a Intense Wild Cat 3D card - looks horrible for a $4000+ video card - maybe I am doing something wrong.
THe other runs on NT server with SP4 or maybe SP5 on a GeForce DDR DVI card from Hercules. This one runs OpenGL or Software Rendering.

At home I run it on Win2K or 98..

Yes it does run under NT.. Try installing it again after an uninstall.
