Anyone running Kernel Streaming on foobar2000 0.9 and Envy24-HT?

I've searched for this in foobar2000 forums but all the replies I've seen is basically "Kernel Streaming is experimental so don't use it" instead of answering the question.

I know that it's not working now because I can't find a way to resample to 96 kHz. There's supposedly a PPSH resampler already built-in so there's no need for an external plug-in.

Anyone?

Forgot to mention - I'm using a Chaintec AV-710, running on 500a drivers.

It just prioritizes audio more and bypasses system volume. I don't know why people use it unless it does something else I'm not aware of.

I tried it with the AV-710 and it worked for me. Foobar2000 came with two resampler DSP plugins.

Maybe you need to download the "full" version of foobar2000 which comes with lal the plugins

supposedly it is of superior quality. I couldn't detect any difference and the fact that any other sound playback pauses the music and forces you to restart it made me go back

Are you trying this on 0.9? There's only one installer package for 0.9.

The reason I'm using kernel streaming is for the ability to keep the volume independent from Windows since it bypasses the default mixer

Same. It's nice to be able to mute all the Windows noises and other apps so I can listen to music without interruption.

I see the PPHS resampler in my 0.9 install... it's right there under preference/playback/dsp
