Anyone running IBM 75GXP's in a Raid 0 Setup????

I just purchased two retail 15gb ata 100 7200rpm IBM drives to put in a raid setup on my new Abit KT7 - Raid. Anyone have a setup similar to this? How large of a performance gain will I see. Any problems with this board or these drives?

Same exact setup, no problems. Performance gain isn't that big, but it's definately noticeable.

20gb and 30gb 75GXP in Raid 0 on a Ka7-100...essentially the same board as the KT7 RAID. It works great! I get like 46000 in Sandra...

Why 20gb and 30gb? Don't you basically lose 10gb when doing that?

No, you'll get 1 40 gig raid partition and a 10 gig non-raided partition. As long as the drives are the same basic model it works ok. Don't use dif speed drives, and it's best to not use drives from a different series.
