Anyone running emulators on their PSPs?

I just found out that there's a gang of different emulators for the PSP that can run a boatload of games for different systems. I gotta admit the concept of being able to play thousands of different games from several console systems rocks.

Anyone here have any experience with those emulators?

How are the graphics and the controls? Are they fairly consistent with the original systems?

Yep, I have no complaints. You can always reconfigure the controls if you want, but the defaults seem fine to me.

Snes9x requires a little tweaking to get it up to 80-100% emulation speed (with the default settings it's really slow).

It's called portability my friend, by utilizing the proprietory technology of the PSP for emulation purposes it creates synergy for the shareholders resulting in a dynamic paradigm shift which ultimately leads to an increase in individual personal enjoyment.

What does that all mean? Who the hell knows I'm on my 4th glass of wine.

A friend of mine has ported his own emulator, for the Sinclair Spectrum series home computers, to the PSP and it's really very cool. He's also got control of the CPU so he can even overclock the PSP to 333 Mhz, the supposed target speed that got dropped in favour of bat life.

I really like the fact that the PSP is easy to customize, it really extends the life of the hardware
