At our small business, we currently have a blackberry server supporting a dozen BBs.

Holistically, we're satisified with our BBs and BES, but I'm interested in learning about competing platforms.

Anyone use Android phones or looking to do so? Or even lulz iphones?

Running the iPhone's will be much better after 4.0, giving the ability to push apps and such to the phones in an enterprise environment, as well as supporting encryption. Email, calendars, and contacts are all handled via exchange servers.

My company (Intel) supports Outlook calendar/email/contacts on iPhones. Oddly enough they don't support Android phones - they are still evaluating them.

I've been using Outlook Exchange syncing on my iPhone since Jan. It's a battery hog, but aside from that it works pretty well and I've had no issues.

The implementation of exchange on android is not the best, however for receiving email, viewing calendar, and address book, it does the job.

I actually work for a company that supports smartphones for enterprises. We mainly do BB's, but other devices are becoming common through 3rd party server programs like Trustdigital. http://www.trustdigital.com/ (no, that isn't my company, obviously).

Android and Iphone both don't have as many security features as windows mobile phones do with exchange, or BB does with a BES...but these server "addons" for exchange really improve the functionality.
