Anyone running a 1Ghz PIII in an Abit BX6 board?

I called Abit and they couldn't tell me if a 1 Ghz PIII would run in my Bx6 board.

Anyone know the answer?

I've had a fcpga p3 1GHz on a slocket with a p3b-f!

i had a 1.1 celeron(128k) on it and it worked. It came up with a error everytime it booted but you just hit f1 and it was fine. It saided the speed was something like i00 instead of 1100. But the intel cpuid showed it as a 1100 celeron and so did the benchmarks

runs in my BH6 which is a little older than the Bx6, check your multiplier in bios - does it go up to 10 or above?
Do you have that boards latest bios installed?

I run a P1 slot1 1000 at 1240mhz in my BH6.
