Anyone running 2 inverters/3-4 CCFL's?

Curious would it be safe to run 2 different CCFL inverters and 3 different CCFL's? What would happen exactly if a inverter/CCFL burns up? Would/could it take my whole system with it?

Are you thinking about using dual inverters with 2 bulbs in one of them?

I was running a dual inverter with 2 bulbs and two single inverters to fan grill cathodes.

EDIT: before my motherboard died, but it was unrelated (leaky capacitors)

I am talking about using 2 dual inverters. Running dual UV CCFL's off one and a single red CCFL off the other dual inverter.

Well, that worked fine fore me (+ another single one like I mentioned)

I'm not sure what happens if an inverter goes bad.

Yeah one of the inverters is kinda old and I hate for it to crap out and kill my system. I think the UV CCFL's make my system look nice but the top of the case is dark and I'd like to add some red to the inside of my case.

You could get another dual inverter and a bulb for basically shipping (plus a few bucks) at SVC.com if you're worried about the age of yours.
